James 5:7-8 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. (8) Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

The Lord’s return will soon appear. We need only be patient. It has now been more than two-thousand years since the Lord last walked the earth. Many mockingly say, “Where is He who promised to come again?” We know in our hearts that Jesus will soon return. Yet, even the oldest of us have only waited eighty or ninety years. How much longer has the Lord waited for His bride? The Bride of Christ, or in other terms, the church is the fruit for which the Lord has contended, the fruit for which the Lord has so earnestly strived. Yet, He patiently waits for the order to go and get His bride. We must rest in the Lord’s promise to return. God’s promise is true and Jesus will soon return for us. We must have confidence in this very simple fact.
