Randy and Kellie’s Testimony

Kellie was born and raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as her savior when she was a young child, and confirmed this decision in her heart at the Wilds when she was a teen.  Randy was saved and Scripturally baptized when he was twenty-two under the preaching of Dr. Bob Kelley at Grace Baptist Church in West Columbia, South Carolina.  In April of 1994, Kellie and Randy were married.  A short time later, Randy realized God's call to preach in his life and surrendered to the ministry.

Randy and Kellie began working in the bus ministry at their local church.  It was while they were working with the bus kids that God also began to work and mold a desire in their hearts to train teens.  Later, Randy and Kellie helped start the Teens Church at Grace Baptist Church.  Teens Church is an outreach ministry of Grace Baptist Church that operates with the goal of reaching inner-city teens and training them to serve God in whatever capacity God chooses.  In 1998, Randy and Kellie moved to North Carolina, they continued working with teenagers in their local church’s Sigma program.  While working in Sigma, Randy and Kellie founded Teens-4-Christ. Originally, Teens-4-Christ was intended to be a website promoting the local youth department, however they quickly realized the global impact of this resource and God impressed upon them the need of such a resource for the world.

In the time between the creation of Teens-4-Christ in June of 1999 and January of 2004, more than 2.4 million individual documents have been downloaded from Teens-4-Christ.  Randy and Kellie have been in contact with and counseled teens (and a few adults) on six of the seven continents of the world.

Randy was commissioned to preach the Gospel as a missionary to the internet by their home church, Faith Baptist Church of Shelby, North Carolina.  The men of Faith Baptist Church laid hands on Randy and Kellie on February 29, 2004.
